![]() 3 increments from 21gr to 23. They have reported 3200fps with the 85gr TSX out of a 16" barrel. Re: (5.56x45) Hornady 75gr BTHP Load data Well, I worked up 30 rounds, three rounds each for charges in. The 90gr TNT and 85gr TSX bullets are really smoking out of these barrels now. 25gr under a Hornady 55gr FMJ for a basic loading, works good. 223 I use a light load of it in my competition ammo, for hosing 3gun stages and such. Posted: 9:45:50 AM EDT 5 H335 works great for. 270 winchester barrels Remington decided to use. Posted: 8:40:44 AM EDT 4 My go to bulk load is Hornady 55 gr FMJBT, 25 GR 335 with CCI 41. These barrels are cut with 1/11.25" 5R, 1/12", and 1/13" 3 groove button rifling as opposed to the 6 groove 1/10" factory left over. This is achieved by cutting the chamber with a longer throat which allows some of the pressure to be alleviated upon firing, the slower twist + shallower grooves in the barrel also reduce pressure allowing the cartridge to be loaded hotter and still kept within safe pressure levels. Factory Remington loads in a SAAMI chamber typically peak around 2550FPS with a 110gr bullet but with a barrel with the new chamber and bore configuration you can get 3000fps out of your loads with the same amount of chamber pressure. I have never used it before I normally use Varget or Win 748 but was able to lay my hands on a 8lb keg so I did trying to get Varget is still a pain in the backside. 308 you are better off with the 300 blackout as it gives you a choice of powders that will allow you to come up with something accurate instead of something. IMR 3031 looking for anyones pet/favorite loads for. You'll probably have much better accuracy too. These 2 guys are pushing the envelope for performance in the 6.8 SPC. 22LR as its much simpler than trying to get a 50gr bullet out of that long barrel subsonic. 270 Winchester and not ideal for the 6.8 SPC.Ĭheck out and. Most rifle loadings are all supersonic, so subsonic loads are specially down-loaded to stay below the speed of sound. ![]() In 9mm, most loading data are supersonic. If you are planning on buying a 6.8 SPC rifle with the intent of reloading you should seriously consider purchasing a barrel with the improved chamber and twist rate, and NOT the SAAMI spec 1/10" barrel. All data in this caliber is subsonic but is not normally tagged with the name subsonic. Use of this data in firearms with insufficient barrel twist rates may result in poor accuracy, key-holing, and internal strikes that could cause damage to muzzle devices such as brakes or suppressors. However it uses a small rifle primer whereas the Remington brass uses a large rifle primer pocket. This data is intended for subsonic use in firearms with barrel twist rates appropriate to stabilize the bullets listed. I plan to use Hodgdon H335 powder, any comments on this powder. BLC-2 works well with bullets up to 80gr, and it meters nicely, and its very consistent. Aceman58 wrote: Ordered my Lee LoadMaster and planning on reloading 5.56 and. Silver State Armory makes the better brass. H335 is the designed powder for 50-55gr bullets in the 223. ![]()
